Chapter 45
Theoretically, You Should Call Me Martial Uncle
Seeing the outworlder, Huang Ren's eyes filled with tension. Earlier on the first floor, fighting the Fire Lizard Tribe had already been extremely exhausting.
He wasn't skilled in close combat, and this place suppressed special abilities severely, yet his greatest strength lay in his ability.
The outworlder that appeared this time was also of the Fire system, giving him a massive headache.
If the opponent was also of the Fire system, they would naturally possess a certain immunity to Fire abilities.
Tie Yan walked up to Huang Ren.
"Human, I hope you can make me use my full strength. I had a hard time cutting in line to get in here," Tie Yan said proudly, looking at Huang Ren.
"What cutting in line?" This left Huang Ren utterly confused.
"No more talk, fight!" Tie Yan disdained to explain further. He charged forward, his style pure brute force.
With a trace of red flame enveloping his fist, he rushed toward Huang Ren at extreme speed.
Huang Ren hurriedly extended his hands in a pushing motion. In an instant, a blazing red shield materialized in front of him.
When Tie Yan's fist slammed into the shield, a loud clanging sound echoed.
It sounded as if he had struck a solid block of iron, producing a deafening noise.
Seeing that the shield could block Tie Yan's fist, Huang Ren didn't idle. He pointed his right hand at Tie Yan.
A sphere of Purple Flame, only the size of a chicken egg, shot out at extreme speed.
It landed squarely on Tie Yan's chest. The moment the Purple Flame touched his skin, it burst open.
Tie Yan's entire upper body was instantly enveloped by the Purple Flame.
The terrifyingly high temperature made Tie Yan frown slightly. With a furious roar, his original brown fur turned a fiery red.
The burning Purple Flame was blocked by Tie Yan's red fur. Though it was only held at bay for a brief moment, the red fur quickly scorched black.
Although it only blocked the flame for a moment, it gave Tie Yan a chance to catch his breath.
He lunged at Huang Ren once more, his attack clearly much more fierce than before.
Huang Ren repeated his old trick, conjuring another flame shield in front of his body.
However, with Tie Yan going all out, the shield only blocked two strikes before several cracks appeared on it.
Huang Ren hastily retreated, sending another sphere of Purple Flame flying toward Tie Yan.
Having suffered from it once, Tie Yan knew the lethality of this flame. He threw a punch directly, intending to shatter the flame with his fist.
To his surprise, the moment his fist made contact with the Purple Flame—
*Boom!* His entire fist was engulfed by the Purple Flame. The fire that was about to die down on his body began to burn furiously once more.
Huang Ren panted heavily on the side. Although they were just simple ability skills, they consumed an immense amount of his energy due to the suppression of abilities in this place.
It made using his ability extremely exhausting. If he couldn't defeat the giant in front of him with such high-intensity attacks this time, he would have no choice but to admit defeat.
Tie Yan's entire body was wrapped in Purple Flame, yet it failed to cause him any substantial damage.
"Roar!" With a furious howl, the red flames erupting from within his body completely dispersed the Purple Flame on him.
"Lowly human, you only know how to use these petty tricks. You disappoint me. Die!" Tie Yan's body swelled a size larger as he lunged at Huang Ren.
"You are far inferior to my master. You don't even deserve to be here," Tie Yan muttered as he fought.
*What a loss. Not only did I not improve at all, but I also offended so many people. I'll definitely get beaten up when I go back.* Huang Ren couldn't understand what this bear was rambling about. He could only defend passively until his final flame shield was shattered.
It was as if all his strength had been drained, and he collapsed weakly to the ground.
"Human, you disappoint me. I didn't expect you to be so weak." Tie Yan did not continue his attack, merely looking down at Huang Ren lying on the ground.
He didn't harbor a desire to completely exterminate humans.
"It's because you're too strong. You must be at the Third Stage, while I've only just reached the Second Stage." Facing the outworlder's mockery, Huang Ren was somewhat speechless.
"It's just that you are too weak. When my master was at the Second Stage, he thrashed me until I had no power to fight back," Tie Yan said disdainfully.
"Who is your master?" Huang Ren was extremely curious, having heard this bear mention him more than once.
"My master is also a human like you. He came here to pass the trials," Tie Yan replied without hiding anything.
"You actually took a human as your master?" Huang Ren was astonished. Others might not know, but he knew how much the outworlders detested humans. How could one possibly take a human as a master?
"What's so strange about that? My master is stronger than me, so it's only natural for me to acknowledge him as my teacher," Tie Yan said as if it were a matter of course.
"What is your master's name?" Huang Ren asked curiously.
He wanted to learn from this fellow human. This was simply too mind-blowing.
"Shen... Yi... It seemed to be something like that," Tie Yan said uncertainly.
"Shen Yi?" Huang Ren repeated the name somewhat unclearly. He probably didn't know him, so he decided to ask around once he got out.
Just as he was preparing to leave, realizing that this outworlder had no intention of fighting to the death, a name suddenly flashed in his mind.
"You don't mean he's called Shen Yi, do you?" Huang Ren asked, somewhat unsure.
"Yes, yes! That's the name! My master indeed said so before he left," Tie Yan nodded hurriedly.
To confirm, Huang Ren carefully described Shen Yi's appearance for Tie Yan to verify.
"Yes, that's my master!"
Upon receiving Tie Yan's confirmation, a sly grin spread across Huang Ren's face.
"What's your name?"
"Tie Yan."
Huang Ren suddenly walked over, slung an arm around Tie Yan's shoulder, and said earnestly, "Little Yan, do you know who I am?"
Tie Yan was bewildered by this sudden intimacy. Not knowing what to do, he shook his head blankly.
"Theoretically, you should call me Martial Uncle," Huang Ren said seriously, patting Tie Yan's shoulder.
"Martial Uncle? You know my master?" Tie Yan understood that much; this person knew his master.
"More than just knowing him. The two of us grew up wearing diapers together. What do you think?" Huang Ren said proudly.
"Then why are you so weak?"
Huang Ren: "....."
That single sentence almost choked Huang Ren to death.
"Your master and I walk different paths. He focuses on amplification, which is why you feel his strength is immense. I, on the other hand, walk a different path. It's just that the suppression here is too strong for me." Huang Ren spouted complete nonsense, leaving Tie Yan dazed and stunned.
"If we were outside, your master would be pinned down and thrashed by me. Moving mountains and draining seas are just basic operations for me." Saying this, he stroked his chin as if stroking an imaginary beard.
"Once you see me outside, you'll know how formidable I am." Huang Ren put on a profound look, patting Tie Yan's shoulder once more.
