Hogwarts: Starting with Luna's Family, Striving for Godhood

Everything Is Ready

Chapter 14

Everything Is Ready

Wizette said, "Professor Snape must have been involved too... I took a class on potion identification, and one of the potions in it should be related to the trial."

Dumbledore nodded, "It's rare for Severus to be so diligent; he indeed designed a trial as well."

"I don't know the specific details of the remaining parts... But I think Professor Flitwick and Professor McGonagall must have participated. May I ask how many trials there are in total?"

"There is also Quirrell's trial, and the final trial I prepared for Voldemort," Dumbledore clapped. "Do you need me to tell you the specific details?"

"No need, Professor..." Wizette shook his head. "After guessing these trials, I've actually summarized a pattern... these trials shouldn't be too difficult, right?"

"The professors have integrated the corresponding solutions into the curriculum. Perhaps their real purpose is just to test... not to stop Voldemort."

"Indeed," Dumbledore gently rubbed his temples. "I have a subject to test—Harry Potter! If Harry eventually joins you, please make sure there are no unexpected incidents."

"So... will Harry be in danger?" Wizette frowned. "If he is also in a sealed room... I guess Hermione and Ron will follow too."

"The only one to undergo the final trial will be Harry, this I can guarantee," Dumbledore's voice sank. "The final room holding the Philosopher's Stone is the best place to trap Voldemort."

"I will do my utmost to make that place safe, to prevent Voldemort from harming more people... So you must remember to keep the locket with you, absolutely do not forget."

"Yes, Professor!" Wizette replied, looking thoughtfully at the locket.

He looked around once more, noticing that something was missing from the Headmaster's office, which further confirmed his thoughts.
-------------------------------------
In a mood of both anticipation and anxiety, Wizette welcomed the end-of-year exams.

When summer arrived, the weather became quite muggy.

But Wizette was quite lucky; his seat for the written exam was near the window. With a gentle breeze blowing into the classroom, he didn't feel muggy at all, but rather comfortable.

The written exam content wasn't difficult. Wizette relied on his memory to complete all the questions.

He was always the first to hand in his paper, finding a quiet corridor to take out Dumbledore's paper and read it carefully.

On it was the basic procedure of the "Plan to Rescue Professor Quirrell." When the time came, Dumbledore would give a signal to let Quirrell escape Voldemort's control.

Just how great Voldemort's malice was remained an enigma.

Wizette practiced the Jing Wei Di Hun Spell over and over, repeating the casting movements, using a "natural" way to comprehend this ancient magic.

Compared to other magic, this spell was created by him and enhanced by the power of ancient magic, making it easier to reach a "natural" state.

At the same time, "natural" didn't just mean being measured and proficient, but also meant being able to cast with full power, without holding back...

In addition, Wizette went to the fourth floor to scout, confirming that the three-headed dog hidden inside was indeed Fluffy, whom he had met in Diagon Alley...

After the written exams, the final exams also had a practical portion.

The practical exam content was similarly simple.

The Charms practical exam mainly focused on the Banishing Charm, requiring casting a spell to make a pineapple tap-dance across a desk;

Professor McGonagall used a snuffbox as the exam topic, requiring turning a mouse into a snuffbox, with points awarded based on the exquisite design of the box.

The Potions practical exam was brewing the Forgetfulness Potion. Wizette completed it easily, leaving the exam room very early.

Later, he heard Hannah and the others talk about the Potions exam, only then learning that an interesting incident had occurred in the exam room—

Snape still paced back and forth as he usually did during lectures, occasionally stopping behind a student.

In the tense atmosphere of the exam, several students became even more nervous, and as if tasting the flavor, they took a ladle of the Forgetfulness Potion and drank it.

They drank spoonful after spoonful until the cauldron was empty, only then starting to prepare it again in a panic, and then repeated the process...

What made Hannah and the others regret was that the students who drank the Forgetfulness Potion were from Slytherin, so Snape didn't fly into a rage, only waiting until the students had drunk their fill before speaking up to remind them...

Faced with such an interesting story, Wizette naturally wouldn't miss it, building it into his soul labyrinth.

Before they knew it, all the exams had ended, and night quietly fell.

Voldemort had told Wizette that there was still a real final exam waiting for him, probably tonight.

Dumbledore also left him a note, saying he would temporarily leave Hogwarts, reminding him to definitely bring the locket.

Wizette waited until midnight before Voldemort's message slowly arrived.

It was a purple cloth. Even from a distance from the window, Wizette could still smell garlic.

"Accio cloth!"

He waved his wand to cast the Summoning Charm, the cloth unfurling in the air as a scrap of paper fell from it.

Wizette changed the target of the Summoning Charm, catching the scrap of paper and seeing the crooked handwriting on it: Come to the fourth-floor corridor!

He let out a long breath, confirming that all the items in his backpack were packed—parchment, chocolate frogs...

Checking the locket on his chest once more, he quietly left the common room.

"Ribbit!"

A toad's croak made his scalp tingle slightly.

The dark brown toad with thirteen warts on its back was Neville's pet toad, Trevor.

Neville's voice rang out, "You can't keep breaking school rules! I have to stop you! I've thought it through! Get ready!"

Harry's anxious voice followed, "Do something!"

"Petrificus Totalus!"

Hermione's spellcasting voice rang out, followed immediately by the thud of a body falling to the ground.

Wizette turned into another corridor, placing the tip of his wand on an oil painting and tracing one of the curves on it.

The oil painting emitted a faint light, the image spinning continuously until it turned into a wooden door.

This was a secret passage Fred and George had shared, inside of which was a long slide that could be used when running late to reach the fourth floor in the quickest time.

Voldemort's voice rang out, "Faster than I thought, my student..."

Quirrell was wrapped in a wide cloak. Wizette couldn't see his face clearly, not knowing the specific situation.

Wizette asked calmly, "I almost overslept. Did any accidents happen?"

"I know what you are thinking," Voldemort's voice was soft. "At least for now, Quirinus is fine, apart from being unconscious."

Wizette stood straight, "What did you bring me here to do?"

"The servant does not wish to continue serving, so I can only trouble the student," Voldemort drawled.
