Honored Master, Are You Still Living Well?

The Northern Border of Zhongzhou.

Thick clouds rolled like ink splashed across the sky, thunder rumbling in waves.

Upon the ruined city wall, rubble lay scattered everywhere. Suddenly, a slender hand reached out and pressed lightly against the ground. As the hand clenched, veins bulged on the back of it, and the youth flipped himself up onto the wall.

The newcomer was tall and slender with a straight back, clad in a narrow-sleeved black robe, with a dark green jade pendant hanging from his waist.

His long hair was tied high into a ponytail, and beneath his hollow-carved jade crown, a soft silk ribbon fluttered in the wind.

Lightning slashed across the sky, illuminating his handsome face.

He looked down at the blood demons surging like waves beneath the ruined wall. Beneath his long, thick eyelashes, his pitch-black eyes were as clear and quiet as dark jade. His exquisite features were like a sculpture, his expression indifferent and devoid of any warmth, his entire being exuding a dark, cold aura.

Just then, the jade pendant at his waist suddenly rang.

"Mo Zhu, three blood demons have been detected to the southeast, rushing toward you. Be careful!"

"Understood. I see them."

He decisively cut off the connection with the jade pendant.

On the rooftops of the ruined buildings, three hideous and grotesque blood demons were rushing toward him, leaping across the tiles.

Mo Zhu raised his hands to form hand seals. His palms flashed with brilliant golden light as complex runic patterns emerged, rotating faster and faster. In the blink of an eye, a massive talisman spanning a hundred chang materialized in midair.

"None shall escape."

A second later, the Fusha Seal shot forward, striking the three blood demons. The two sides clashed for a brief moment before the golden light exploded a hundredfold, instantly swallowing all three demons.

The kind of blood demons that required three Golden Core cultivators working together to destroy were wiped out in an instant by a long-lost spell called the Fusha Seal.

Mo Zhu turned, about to head to the next demon-infested area, when the jade pendant at his waist rang again.

This time, the caller was from the Yingshan Sect.

"Junior Brother Mo, Immortal Venerable Zhuo Yu summons you back to the sect."

Mo Zhu's pitch-black pupils suddenly contracted into clear, golden vertical slits. His breezy aura turned ice-cold in an instant, and the longsword at his waist hummed.

"Junior Brother Mo? Junior Brother Mo, do you hear me?"

Within a moment, Mo Zhu reined in his emotions, and the golden slits vanished.

He replied calmly, "Mn, I understand."

The other side received his reply and disconnected without saying more.

Mo Zhu raised his eyes to look into the distance. Lightning repeatedly pierced the dense dark clouds as light rain began to fall, soon turning into a torrential downpour.

A thousand miles to the east lay the Yingshan Sect.

He hadn't returned for three years, but the Gu worm inside his body was still stirring, and the wound she had stabbed in the past felt as if it had never healed, blood still slowly dripping.

Three years, and nothing had truly ended.

After a long time, amidst the rumbling thunder and lightning, the rain poured down like a waterfall.

Mo Zhu narrowed his eyes. He looked as if he were smiling, but his voice was as cold as frost and snow.

"Honored Master, are you still living well?"
