Chapter 7
He Above, I Below
Inside the room, Prince An and Lin Ling were also talking. He asked,
"Sister-in-law, where is Big Brother Si? Why did you come here in person this time? What on earth happened?"
Lin Ling's gaze drifted as she lowered her head and replied,
"My husband... my husband... is gone."
Prince An's face paled,
"What?! Big Brother Si is dead? Who did it?"
An Dinglun clenched his fists, his face unable to hide his shock. Unable to believe this was the truth, he knelt down in agitation and cried out,
"BIG BROTHER!"
His usually ice-cold eyes wavered, flashing with anger, resentment, and sorrow. The sworn brother of over ten years, whom he regarded as his own flesh and blood, with whom he had sworn to share both wealth and woe, had now departed without a word. The massive blow made tears well up in his eyes.
Lin Ling was equally heartbroken, choking back her emotions to keep from crying out loud. She took out the letter her husband had entrusted to her, placed it in Prince An's hand, and said,
"Read this letter, and you will understand the reason."
He took it and carefully opened the letter to read. It was unclear what was written inside, but upon finishing, he slowly folded it and tucked it into his robes. His expression had now grown calmer.
An Dinglun took Lin Ling's hand, his face filled with determination,
"Sister-in-law, rest assured. I will make them pay a heavy price. Big Brother Si's sacrifice will not be in vain. Trust me. For now, stay here; it will be safer."
Then he looked toward the door. Suddenly remembering Shi Yi, he suggested,
"It's already late, and it's inconvenient to return to the manor tonight. How about I stay here for the night? Tomorrow morning, I will have people secretly protect you."
Lin Ling didn't think twice and immediately agreed.
Meanwhile, Shi Yi had returned to her room. Feeling a bit uncomfortable, she wanted to take a bath to refresh herself. She slowly walked inside, gently shedding her layers of clothing to reveal her flawless, fair skin. Her petite frame, slender shoulders, and delicate collarbones were clearly defined. Every curve of her body looked alluring, without a single blemish.
She gently washed away the dirt and wiped her face with a wet towel. Shi Yi bathed mindlessly, completely unaware that Prince An had leapt onto the roof some time ago. He wanted to see what her purpose in coming here really was.
An Dinglun cautiously approached her room. Choosing a suitable spot, he gently removed a few roof tiles, revealing a small gap just large enough to peer through. Prince An bent down and looked inside.
Seeing the scene inside, he hastily backed away and turned his head, his face flushing red. Realizing that peeping at a woman bathing was improper behavior, he intended to leave, but then he remembered the tattoo of Tianwu Valley. He hesitated and thought, *She doesn't have the mark of Tianwu Valley on her arm? Then what is her relationship with them?*
Prince An stood up, accidentally stepping on a thin tile. Under his weight, the tile cracked in half.
*Crack!*
A second later, he fell straight through the ceiling into her room.
Whether by accident or design, he fell right onto her. Shi Yi's eyes went wide, her mouth forming an 'O' shape. Looking at herself and then at the man in front of her, she shrieked in panic. In his desperation, Prince An could only pull her into his arms and lock his lips over hers to silence her.
Her eyes widened in shock, but she seemed to calm down slightly. Gathering all her strength, she pushed him away and, without hesitation, delivered a resounding slap to his face.
*Slap!*
"You... you... pervert!"
She stammered in panic, while An Dinglun's face flushed crimson, his ears and cheeks burning like a drunkard's,
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to."
Shi Yi grabbed his collar and tried to push him away. Prince An spun around, grabbed a set of clothes hanging nearby, and threw them to her,
"Put them on quickly."
Fortunately, Prince An managed to maintain his composure.
After putting on her clothes, Shi Yi was still burning with resentment. Without a word, she clenched her fists and lunged to attack him. Prince An easily dodged, seeing through all her moves. Because Shi Yi was too angry, her strikes were purely instinctual, leaving many openings. Before long, she was subdued by him, her arms pinned behind her back.
"Speak. What is your purpose in approaching my sister-in-law?"
"I don't have one!"
Shi Yi struggled to break free and threw a backward kick. Swift as lightning, he caught her leg and pulled her back. After exchanging a few basic martial moves, neither could gain the upper hand. During the struggle, she slipped and fell, but not before grabbing him and pulling him down with her.
Cứ như thế, cả hai va vào nhau, ngã lên giường. Cảnh tượng chàng ở trên, nàng ở dưới này hết sức ái muội. Tiếp xúc thân mật khiến trái tim cả hai đập loạn nhịp. An Định Luân thở dốc, nhìn nàng không rời mắt.
Just then, Xiao Jing suddenly burst in from outside, saying excitedly,
"Sister Shi Yi, let me show you something really cool!"
Of all times, she had to arrive at this exact moment. How could they explain this? Seeing the scene before her, the young girl was utterly shocked and quickly covered her eyes,
"Oh my, I'm sorry. I came at the wrong time. You two carry on."
With that, the girl hastily left, leaving behind an incredibly awkward atmosphere. Once outside, she thought to herself, *The two of them... are progressing way too fast.* She didn't forget to turn back and sneak another peek.
Once Xiao Jing was gone, Shi Yi snapped back to her senses and said with some anger,
"Get up quickly, you're crushing me to death!"
An Dinglun stood up in a daze, completely losing his mind to interrogate her. He immediately left her room as if fleeing, his hurried footsteps quickly fading away.
Shi Yi angrily slammed her fist onto the bed, "An Dinglun, you absolute perverted lecher!"
