Signing the Contract

The two went to the meeting room, opened the door, and found the key to the drawer on Yang Yujiao's desk to retrieve their things.

After finishing the task, the alcohol in their systems had mostly worn off. They went up to the second floor, where the hallway was dark and quiet. Secretary Yang thought to herself that it must be over by now. She had to admit that Wang Yonggui was much stronger than Er Bizi. Even now, she still felt uncomfortable while walking and told herself she had to bathe and change clothes as soon as she got back.

However, when they stepped outside, both were stunned. Intense sounds were still coming from inside, especially Liu Caiyun's voice, which sounded like she was going crazy. Secretary Yang looked at Er Bizi sheepishly, and the two looked at each other in confusion. Through the glass window, the living room was empty; the sounds were coming from the bedroom, so they couldn't see anything inside. The commotion was so lively, with all sorts of mixed sounds, as if a life-and-death battle were taking place.

"We took turns toasting him earlier. Your brother drank so much, will he be okay? We went down and came back, and he's still... nothing happened, right?"

Er Bizi had a look of admiration and a wicked smile. He had only heard of Wang Yonggui's reputation before; he didn't expect him to be this powerful! This was truly what every man dreamed of.

"Listen to that. He's still full of spirit inside. How could anything be wrong?" Er Bizi replied with a smile. Liu Caiyun had also drunk quite a bit today, so she was likely in a state of excitement and didn't know what fatigue was.

Secretary Yang sighed and said nothing more. Her legs were getting tired from standing, so she leaned against the wall and sat down to wait. She and Liu Caiyun had come from the city to the countryside for work. They had heard of the reputations of other villages and told themselves they would never compromise with the local residents. But they didn't expect everything to spiral out of control tonight. Both had been conquered by this rural man; sometimes, one truly couldn't help themselves.

Thinking about how she still had a boyfriend in the city whom she had loved for several years, she felt a bit uncomfortable, especially since the person just now had been Er Bizi. Hearing the heart-pounding sounds from inside, she didn't know if her emotions right now were real or fake.

After a long while, Liu Caiyun's voice suddenly became wild, like a final surge of energy, and then Wang Yonggui also let out a satisfied laugh. Finally, it truly became quiet inside.

Much later, Wang Yonggui, fully dressed, stood by the bed. Liu Caiyun still lay there, her eyes glazed over, a trace of something lingering at the corner of her mouth, her body occasionally twitching as if possessed. Waiting a moment for her to calm down, he covered her with a blanket.

Wang Yonggui turned and left, his heart full of satisfaction. It felt as if all the suppressed grievances he had held for so long had been completely vented; his mood was incredibly joyful. Reaching the living room and seeing Er Bizi and Secretary Yang waiting, he smiled and nodded.

Secretary Yang pretended as if nothing had happened and asked, "Boss Wang, have you and Secretary Liu finished discussing the project?"

Wang Yonggui was in a good mood and nodded. "It's done. After all, I'm a man of Taohua Village; how could I not help? I'll take on this project and expand the scale of the plastic greenhouses. The village committee can proceed; you handle the funds yourselves or use the project money. I'll buy the medicinal herbs and create jobs for the villagers."

"Since it's settled, let's sign the contract now!" Secretary Yang immediately took the prepared contract out of the drawer.

She called into the bedroom, but Liu Caiyun didn't answer. Guessing that she was exhausted and had fallen asleep, she didn't call again. Wang Yonggui sat on the sofa and flipped through the contract. With his current abilities, he read very quickly and finished all the terms in an instant.

He acted politely. "Secretary Yang, I naturally trust the village committee's matters. No need to look closely; I'll sign now."

In fact, the contract was very fair and reasonable. Secretary Yang smiled. "Boss Wang is indeed a man of great affairs, so straightforward. Rest assured, the village committee will absolutely not let you down."

After the signing and stamping were finished, Wang Yonggui stood up. "Alright, I'm heading back. My wife is waiting at home. If I'm late, I'll have to hear her nagging. It's been a pleasure cooperating."

Secretary Yang saw him to the door. Er Bizi followed behind and winked at her. "Secretary Yang, my brother Wang doesn't give face to anyone, not even Old Lei. He signed the contract entirely because of me. If there's anything good in the future, don't forget me, you two secretaries. We're all family now."

Secretary Yang glared at him. "Just rest easy. Be careful on your way back; it's very dark."

Hearing her concern, Er Bizi was deeply moved. An old rogue like him suddenly felt an unusual warmth. He hurriedly chased after Wang Yonggui.

Secretary Yang muttered, "What do you mean, your credit? You men are all the same. My best friend Caiyun—so many people dream of her but can't have her. If she hadn't let him sleep with her, how would he have signed the contract? But honestly, Er Bizi might be ugly, but he's strong. Rural men really are different."

Satisfied, she took the contract into the room to show Liu Caiyun. Liu Caiyun was lying wrapped in a blanket, her face flushed, looking miserable yet very alluring. Seeing Secretary Yang enter, she hurriedly turned off the light, her voice trembling. "Wait a moment... don't come in yet."

Secretary Yang laughed. "Caiyun, what are you still shy about? Everyone knows what just happened. Your cries could be heard from far away. Boss Wang is so handsome; you didn't lose out. Actually, just now I was also by Er Bizi..."

"Just wait a moment." Liu Caiyun bit her lip, trying to suppress the pain as she stood up, but she fell back down. Then she staggered into the bathroom. In the darkness, she walked with difficulty, leaving a messy trail on the floor.

The sound of running water came from the bathroom. Secretary Yang smiled and went back to the living room to wait. She thought Liu Caiyun probably hadn't had a boyfriend in a long while, which was why she was so shy. They used to share these things with each other before.

"Hmph, what's there to hide? It's not like I haven't seen it," she shouted. "Caiyun, hurry up. I want to bathe too; I feel so dirty and uncomfortable."
