Chapter 46
Penglai Immortal Village: Ghost King Gong (11)
Shen Yu’s bare feet touched the ground as he softly stepped towards the edge of the bed. “Mr. Xie, have you arrived?”
Shen Yu pulled the curtain aside, facing Xie Tu who stood outside. Xie Tu was still in his clothes from last night, and though the wind and snow swirled outside, he seemed unaffected by the cold. He tapped on the window, wanting to enter. Shen Yu immediately opened the window for him. The wind outside was strong, but when Xie Tu stepped into the room, he carried no trace of the chill.
“Xie Tu.” Shen Yu retreated to the edge of the bed, looking at Xie Tu’s appearance, and suddenly chuckled, asking, “Xie Tu, you look truly beautiful right now.”
Xie Tu’s long hair was exactly like in the picture, and Shen Yu liked it very much.
Xie Tu coughed, embarrassed by Shen Yu’s blunt compliment. He spoke softly, a hint of awkwardness in his voice, “I came to visit you.”
“To visit me, huh? Look, I was just about to sleep.” Shen Yu glanced at the bed he had just left; the quilt was half-turned, and the warmth inside hadn’t completely dissipated, making it seem as if the person who had been on the bed truly intended to sleep.
“I woke you up.” Xie Tu stepped forward and took Shen Yu’s hand. Shen Yu’s hand was a little cold, which was strange; the person who had just walked in from the wind and snow wasn’t cold, yet the one who had been sleeping in bed was so cold.
Shen Yu said, “Yes, you did.”
He sat down on the edge of the bed, looking up at Xie Tu.
Xie Tu’s Adam’s apple bobbed slightly, his brows and lashes lowered as he said, “Then what should be done?”
“Then what should be done?” Shen Yu mimicked his words.
Xie Tu then bent down and knelt before Shen Yu. Under Shen Yu’s slightly bewildered expression, he saw Xie Tu reach out and take his foot. When a scorching warmth enveloped his sole, Shen Yu felt a slight burn and instinctively wanted to pull his foot back.
Xie Tu held it firmly, saying, “I came to apologize.”
Shen Yu didn’t reply, the cold sensation in his foot feeling like it was stepping on a warm carpet, very comfortable, and he didn’t stop Xie Tu’s intention.
Then, Xie Tu suddenly asked, “Shen Yu, did you see her yesterday?”
Xie Tu changed the subject, but Shen Yu’s attention was drawn to the hand on his foot. He thought for a moment, guessing Xie Tu was referring to the female ghost he met in the restroom, and whispered, “Do you know her?”
“Mm, I do. She saw you that night, and last night you must have been alone. She knows you and I are acquainted, and she wanted to tie you up and bring you to me.” Xie Tu spoke with a hint of guilt.
Shen Yu chuckled, recalling the hands that truly wanted to pull him into the mirror last night, “Ha, so she wanted to tie me up and offer me to you— ”
Shen Yu drew out the last syllable, deliberately emphasizing the words ‘offer me to you’.
“But I’ve already spoken to her, she won’t do that again next time,” Xie Tu quickly explained.
Shen Yu smiled, withdrew his foot, and then knelt on the edge of the bed, his waist slightly bent, listening to Xie Tu gently say, “Why is that, Mr. Xie, do you not want me?”
“I do, but doing so is not right. You were frightened into illness.” Xie Tu knew about Shen Yu’s illness.
Xie Tu was kneeling on the ground, looking up at Shen Yu as he spoke, his clear yet mysterious eyes fixed on Shen Yu without blinking.
Shen Yu reached out and cupped Xie Tu’s face, lowering his waist to look directly at him. “Yes, yesterday I was almost scared to death.”
His voice was soft and gentle, every word laced with an intoxicating charm. Xie Tu looked up, his Adam’s apple bobbing, his breathing growing rougher. “Then what should be done?”
Shen Yu chuckled softly, Xie Tu’s long hair spilling through Shen Yu’s fingers, soft and luminous. Shen Yu felt his palms go weak, but he deliberately repeated Xie Tu’s words, “Oh, oh, then what should be done?”
Xie Tu straightened his back, leaning closer to Shen Yu’s lips. Shen Yu immediately dodged backward, extending a hand to press against Xie Tu’s forehead. “Didn’t you come to apologize? Why are you asking for a reward?”
“You’re always like this.” Xie Tu’s voice even carried a hint of grievance, which made Shen Yu laugh.
Shen Yu relaxed his hand, propping himself up behind the bed. He gently nudged Xie Tu’s shin with his foot, then said, “So, Mr. Xie came here to blame me?”
Shen Yu’s kick was neither painful nor itchy for Xie Tu, feeling more like a kitten’s scratch. Hmm, Shen Yu was seducing him.
“No, Shen Yu, don’t tempt me. Let me see the wound on your hand.” Xie Tu hadn’t forgotten his purpose for coming. He grabbed Shen Yu’s dangling shin, his expression righteous and awe-inspiring.
Shen Yu was truly amused. He pulled his foot back, hid his hands behind his back, and said, “You say I’m tempting you? How am I tempting you? Am I taking off my clothes? Or am I touching you? You’re accusing me unfairly.”
Xie Tu then leaned forward, his large shadow enveloping Shen Yu, a sudden sense of oppression washing over him.
“Oh, oh, oh, Mr. Xie wants to bully me.” Shen Yu raised his hands and wrapped them around Xie Tu’s neck. He arched his waist slightly, using just a little force to pull Xie Tu closer. Xie Tu lost his balance and knelt on top of Shen Yu.
But fortunately, his hands quickly braced themselves under Shen Yu’s armpits, preventing him from crushing Shen Yu.
“Xie Tu, are you going to kiss me or not?” Shen Yu’s lips were very close to Xie Tu’s, a faint, elegant scent emanating from him.
Xie Tu hesitated for only a moment, and Shen Yu immediately let go. “Alright then, here, my hand.”
Shen Yu lay back on the bed, extending his injured hand towards Xie Tu.
After such a commotion, Shen Yu’s shirt was already crumpled, the collar buttons askew, revealing his fair collarbone.
Xie Tu’s heart tightened, no longer caring about anything else. He bent down, one hand gripping Shen Yu’s wrist and pinning his hand above his head, then the other hand cupped Shen Yu’s face. He closed his eyes and kissed those soft lips.
Shen Yu’s lips curved slightly, then he actively parted them…
He looked at Xie Tu’s impassioned expression, gently bit Xie Tu’s lower lip, using a little force, which made Xie Tu suddenly open his eyes. His eyes were hazy and full of desire, with a hint of confusion.
He released Shen Yu’s lips.
Shen Yu smiled, curving his lips as he asked, “Ha, didn’t you say you came to check my hand? Not checking it?”
Xie Tu lowered his head again, his lips very close to Shen Yu’s. Shen Yu heard him say, “I’ll check it later, don’t bite me.”
Shen Yu chuckled, extending his tongue to playfully lick the spot he had just bitten. Xie Tu couldn’t hold back and leaned down to kiss him again. He released Shen Yu’s wrist, moving his hand down to the area below his collarbone…
Xie Tu’s long hair cascaded over his shoulders. Shen Yu was kissed until he could barely breathe, and in a daze, he reached behind Xie Tu’s back, untying his long hair in one swift motion.
The jet-black hair cascaded down like a waterfall. Shen Yu felt that this god-like man had now committed the taboo of passion.

Nearly an hour later, the bell rang, and Shen Yu had fallen asleep. Tears still glistened on his delicate brows and lashes, the flush at the corners of his eyes hadn’t faded, his thin lips were slightly swollen, and his shirt was crumpled beyond recognition.
There were even suspicious stains on the chest of his shirt.
Xie Tu gently dried Shen Yu’s hands, then his own. Through the reflection on the window, Xie Tu saw his long hair tied in a messy bun.
In his heart, he only felt joy. This was because Shen Yu had tied it for him earlier while crying. To tie it in such a way was truly difficult for Shen Yu.
Before leaving, he checked the wound on Shen Yu’s hand once, confirming there were no major issues. Only then did Xie Tu turn off the light, disappearing without a trace the next second.
Leaving only a warm presence in the room.

The next day, before the 7 o’clock bell rang, Shen Yu woke up. He saw a red hair tie on the bedside table and raised a hand to rub his temples.
It was only then that he realized his fingers were incredibly sore. He sighed, beauty truly was a bane.
He got up and found that his shirt had been replaced with a clean one, but where had the dirty one gone?
Shen Yu stood in place, looking around a few times, then suddenly saw the shirt hanging behind the door. Last night, when it was wet, it wasn’t obvious, but now, after a night, the traces on it were very clear.
Hung so openly, it was clear Xie Tu had done it on purpose.
Shen Yu walked over, took the clothes down, muttered something childish, but the smile on his face never faded.
He put away the hair tie Xie Tu had left, changed into clean clothes, and then headed out the door.
He put aside the events of last night; after all, today was a new day.
But as soon as he opened the door and stepped out, he saw someone suddenly run out of a room far down the hall.
“Dead… Someone’s dead!” This cry echoed through the air, instantly waking Shen Yu, who hadn’t fully recovered his senses. He looked warily towards the person, seeing them stumble towards him.
This cry woke everyone in the building. Yu Cheng Yi, yawning, pushed open his door. He had slept soundly and hadn’t heard clearly what the person outside was saying, but he still followed the commotion to take a look.
He ended up seeing Shen Yu at the door and asked, “Are you feeling any better?”
He still looked half-asleep. Shen Yu looked at him and said, “Someone died over there.”
Perhaps they had been living too peacefully these past two days; the sudden mention of death left them momentarily stunned. Then Yu Cheng Yi felt a chill run down his spine. “Someone died?!”
“Mm, let’s go take a look.” Shen Yu nodded, walking towards the room the person had just run from.
Yu Cheng Yi hastily put on his clothes and followed.
Wang Jia Xin also followed.
The person had fled into another room, and Shen Yu had no mind to bother with them. He simply led the others towards the room where someone had died. Wang Jia Xin looked at the room number, thought for a moment, and said, “This is Wang Yang’s room.”
“Wang Yang?” Yu Cheng Yi had no impression of this person.
Wang Jia Xin nodded. “Zhang Xue Yi’s sick teammate.”
“Let’s go in and see.” Behind Shen Yu, other people also gathered, one after another. They were all surprised that someone had died for the first time in this instance.
Because the rules for death were clearly laid out here, how could someone make a known mistake? Therefore, it was very likely this person had stumbled upon a hidden death rule.
