The Dowry Basket

The three sisters were all busy working, but upon seeing their eldest sister, who had married out, return, they were overjoyed and no longer concerned with what they were doing. "My mother-in-law told me to bring these dowry gifts back."

In the eyes of farmers, food was the most precious thing. When a newlywed daughter returned, bringing food as dowry gifts was a good thing.
